Read the active order before building its production line

Delivery orders give your factory a concrete production target. This Find The Needle delivery orders guide follows the supported loop: read the requested product, make it, and load the arriving truck. Checking the live requirement first avoids producing the wrong goods or building around an outdated reward list.

The examples come from recorded player experience rather than personal gameplay tests. As checked November 3, 2026, the official Find The Needle Steam page lists Early Access for November 6. Demo-era order quantities, unlock sequences, and payouts below are historical examples, not permanent guarantees.

Read the product name, quantity, and available reward information in your current objective. If your build lets you pin the task, keeping it visible can help you track the remaining load while managing the factory.

Produce the goods the order actually requests

The collected player recordings show deliveries spanning several production steps. Their purpose is to illustrate the difference between the requested finished product and its inputs.

Recorded delivery productProduction arrangement shown in player experience
Hay balesSupply hay to a powered compressor
Wrapped balesFeed bales into a powered wrapper
Eco bricksSupply hay to the pelletizer
Pulp slabsSupply a pulper with hay, water, and electricity
Paper rollsFeed pulp slabs into the paper mill

These are examples from the selected recordings, not a complete current order table. A truck requesting wrapped bales needs the finished wrapped product, not loose hay that has not passed through the required machines.

Start the production chain and confirm its output before extending it to the loading area. The recordings include machines that stop because electricity or generator fuel is missing; a correct recipe route still needs a running factory.

Load by hand or align a conveyor with the truck

Manual loading works in the recorded player experience: the player carries finished goods to the truck and places them inside. This is practical for finishing a small remaining quantity or correcting items that miss the automatic route.

For repeated production, a belt can deliver goods directly into the truck. The recordings show players extending a conveyor toward the loading area, adjusting where its output lands, and watching the goods count toward the order.

Test the first item before walking away. A belt pointing roughly toward the truck is not proof that the load is registering. If products miss the receiving area, change the conveyor's exit position or loading approach and check again.

One recorded player uses a wheelbarrow to move eco bricks together. That is a player-experience option for that material and setup, not a guarantee that every product loads efficiently through the same container.

Finish the count, then check the reward and next objective

Watch the active order's progress rather than estimating completion from the pile of goods beside the truck. A product waiting outside has not necessarily been delivered.

Once the order is completed in the recordings, the truck leaves and the player checks the next task or newly available research. An early bale delivery unlocks access to scanner plans in that recorded progression. Later recordings show other machine or infrastructure unlocks.

Do not build a spending plan around an old video's payout. Read the reward and newly available research in your own build, including any separate purchase or prerequisite still required.

If you temporarily redirected a sale line into the truck, inspect that route after the delivery. Recorded player experience includes reconnecting production to the selling destination once the order is done. Keep the next goods from accumulating at an unattended loading area.

FAQ

Do I have to load every product by hand?

No. The recorded player experience includes conveyors delivering finished goods into the truck. Confirm that the items actually land and count toward the active order.

Why are my goods not completing the order?

Compare the exact requested product with what you made, then check whether it reaches the truck's receiving area. Inputs and unfinished products are not interchangeable with the requested finished goods.

Does the first bale order always unlock scanner plans?

It does in the collected progression. Treat that as a recorded-build example and check your current task and tech tree for the actual unlock requirement.

Are old delivery quantities and payouts reliable for my build?

They are historical examples. The selected recordings do not establish a permanent current sequence, reward table, or universal quantity requirement.
